Hi guys,

I have a spreadsheet with 3 sheets. For each of these sheets, i want to have the first row (a header row) frozen so when a user scrolls down, row 1 stays visible.

for sheet 1, i highlight row 1 and click Window, then Freeze pane. Everything works out perfectly.

When i do the EXACT SAME THING for sheets 2 and 3, what i get is that the first 9-10 rows all become frozen, not just row 1.

This just makes no sense, but there is nothing i try that can make these rows on sheet 2 and 3 work properly.

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Select cell A2 and THEN do freeze panes. Not the entire row. Freeze panes freezes the area(s) above/left of the current selection.

To show just row one make sure that is visible, select cell A2 and then Window...Freeze Panes

If you select row 1 it will split your page into quarters or something like I think.

Hope it helps.

I guess thats how i had gotten sheet 1 to work long ago, but i must have forgotten that rule at some point.

Thanks again.. i was pulling my hair out.... :)
