I have a list of dates xx/xx/xxxx and I want to format them as xx/xxxx. In other words - lose the day bit and just diplay the month and year.
I feel a bit of a wuss asking as I am not a novice, and I know the answer is under my nose soemwhere.
Help would be appreciated
Thank you

Can't you just select the dates, goto Format>Cells..., select Custom and enter mm/yyyy?
