Hi Folks

Happy New Year. Could someone help me with this please?

If column B is Date of Birth manually entered, eg: 03-06-1965 then how can I auto-populate column A to put that person's birthday THIS year, ie: 03-06-2023 and then to automatically update, so that as soon as we reach 01-01-2024, column A for that entry will change to 03-06-2024?

I can't figure out how to do this and would be most grateful for any thoughts.

Thank you and best wishes. Dan

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

One option is
Excel Formula:
=DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(B2),DAY(B2))

Thank you - I didn't realise I could do that, but have updated to show that I'm on 365/Windows. Thanks so much.
