Time addition issue

I have had a problem with windows 10 today and so decided to do a spreadsheet of all the stuff I have to reinstall. I figured if I could work out how long it takes to install everything that needs reinstalling I could plan it better the next time this happens.
In the spreadsheet I've got start time, end time, difference (endtime - starttime) and time running total. What I'm trying to do is enter a zero time value for the end time and running total time when the task isn't yet completed.
The spreadsheet so far looks like this A1:A21 = start times B1:B21 = End times C1:C21 = column b - column a and column D = C2+D1 etc...
I've tried the iferror formula but I don't know what to enter when there is an error as it would need to be a zero time value.
Any ideas?
BTW columns E onwards contain the programs I'm reinstalling comments on the installation, passwords etc...

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
=IF( B2 ="", 0 , B2-A2)
