Hi

I know this is going to be an easy one but here goes:

I am summing hours and comparing but one group is time and the other is date and time. e.g.:

12:00

01/01/1900 7:27:00 AM

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I think it's just a formatting issue. Select Cells from the Format menu and from the Number tab, select Time and choose the format from the right side.

I'm assuming the answer is 19:27. A simple A1+B1 and custom format the cell that houses the formula as [h]:mm
