time and date to cell (comment)

does anyone know if there is any way to add or insert a time and day; or date stamp to a cell (comment?)

i'd have thought a search on the board for something like 'cell comment date time" would get you on the way

I hope you were successful in your search on the Board as Paddy recommended -- if not you may try the following ...

Range("A11").AddComment Date & " " & Time

to insert Current Date and Time as comment for cell A11.
