I have a total of hours worked by all employees in a column and wish to use that same number to multiply by $15 per hour (eg. 2629:15 in hh,mm format - convert to 2629.25). Currently I just type the number manually, is there a formula that will convert this? Thanks

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Hi Calvin,
just multiply the hh.mm frmatted data by 24 and then by the hourly cost:
=A1*24*15 (if the hours are in A1).

Bye,
