Happy fathers's Day

How do I make a formula that adds 5 hours to the current time.
I don't need seconds

I tried =time()+5
I also tried =now()+5... formating the cell with h:mm

I can't think of any other way...Maybe it's too early :biggrin:
Thanks

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Mike,

Excel stores dates as the number of days since Jan 01, 1900; and and time as a fraction of a day. Each hour is 1/24.

For your question, use the following:

=NOW()+(5/24)

and format as h:mm

The NOW( ) function includes the date.

=NOW() returns something like this 6/19/2011 10:22:41 AM.

If you only want the TIME portion use this:

=MOD(NOW()+TIME(5,0,0),1)

Format as Time
