Time in Excel

Need to know how to capture the time of day in Excel.....I know how to do the date =today()....but don't understand how to capture the time....sure it is a basic function. Also....I have tried the =now()-today() but the time keeps changing with the PC...how do I keep the time from changing in the cell.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
