Hi,
Is it possible to make a time location diagram in excel.
I have a set of 20 Chainage locations each containing say 20 activities with a start and finish date.

Activity Start Finish Chainage Start Chainage Finish
Act 1 S11 F11 CHS1 CHS2
Act 2 S12 F12 Same as Above
Act3, 4 etc will be there with diff dates but same chainage.

Act 1 S21 F21 CHS2 CHS2
Act2 S22 F22 Same as above
Act3, 4, etc will be there with diff. dates but same chainage

What I am looking at is to represent the activities in a time location diagram with chainage on x axis and time/date on Y axis.

Any help ??

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.

You can use XY (Scatter) charts .
Set X values = chainage range data and
Y values = time/date range data
