Hi All .....

How do I get C4 to add the contents of A1, A2 and A3 when the time is between 11:00:00 and 11:00:10 and then hold the value after 11:00:10?

I've tried using LEFT,RIGHT and MID NOW() but just can't get it to work. (not the sum part, the time part)

Assuming you have 10 in A1, 0 in B1, and 11 in C1, you will obtain 10:0:11 in D1 by using this formula in D1: =A1&":"&B1&":"&C1

If you have 00 in B1, it will give 10:00:11

What, exactly, do you see in B1?

Hi Ralph ...

Sorry, I've explained my problem badly.

I have 3 constantly changing values in A1,A2 and A3.

I'm trying to put the sum of these values into C4 at 11 o'clock in the morning. and then lock that sum into the cell for the rest of the day.

The reason I mentioned 11:00:00 and 11:00:10 is because I've noticed that if the sheet is doing another calculation at exactly 11:00, the NOW() function will "miss the mark", so I'm allowing a generous ten second spread.

I believe this cannot be done using formulas, but can be done using VBA, in which I am not conversant. So, a VBA person will hopefully pick this up and solve your problem. Good luck!

You will have to use the timer function in VBA. Try a search on this site.
