Hello,

I have a question on how to further formulate wages calculation.

I made a time sheet which calculates number of hours worked and so on. Now I would like it to calculate the wages as well. The problem is that there is a higher payment for nights.
- $16 per hour on regular hours
- $24 per hour from 23:00 to 07:00

How can I formulate it that I get the total payment taking into consideration nights?

Please help! Thank you very much!!!

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
If you can post a screen shot of your spreadsheet, or better yet post it online it would be easier to help you.
There's a link to drop box in my signature below.

Are they regular shifts i.e. 0700 - 1530 or 2300 - 0700 or do the shift start look like this: 2100 - 0300. So the person gets paid a higher rate once the sift goes past 2300hrs?

Unfortunately, I don't have the spreadsheet with me now. Its at work. :/

The shifts can get irregular for some. It could go like 21:00 - 08:00. Exactly, as soon as the person's shift crosses 23:00 - 07:00, he/she gets paid more.

Hello, here's the link to my excel sheet. https://www.dropbox.com/s/kvcqz77k9yi95x5/time sheet.xlsx

I have some quick questions. First is the regarding post I have above, how to format the "per hour" column so that it can recognize if the times goes by 23:00-7:00 which charges $24. On normal times, $16.

Another question is about the row 6, the no. of hours doesn't calculate through the formula I have. How do I formulate this properly.

Thanks for your help.
