I am looking to make a timestamp when an entry is made. I am using columns A and B. I used one formula I found online however each time I put new entry in the times would shift. I dont need the times but just the dates. thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Add this to the Worksheet module.

*It'll date stamp column C on the row a change is made to A or B. Wasn't 100% sure of the requirement there.

VBA Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim KeyCells As Range

Set KeyCells = Range("A:B")

If Not Application.Intersect(KeyCells, Range(Target.Address)) _
           Is Nothing Then

Cells(Target.Row, 3) = Format(Now(), "DD/MM/YYYY")
End If

End Sub
