Hi all,

A quick question for you

If the time gap between cells A1 and A2 is less than 12 hours I want to have some kind of warning, the cell go red or a pop up message

Thanks

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Monday
Cell A1 Blank
Cell A2 Blank
Tuesday
Cell A3 07:00 Your formula goes in this cell =MOD(A3-A2,1)<0.5
Cell A4 15:00
etc throughout the week

The issue is that the formula reads A2 (the empty cell) as midnight and therefore produces a warning in cell A3 with the 07:00 start time.
