I have A1 formatted as h:mm and i want to multiply this by B1 wich is the number of personell present
What i want to do is multiply the time x people and divide that number by 60 to get total # of man hours

Example: 0:45 x 6 =270----270minutes / 60 would give me 4.5 man hours
in cell C1

Because you want the end result to be a number 4.50, which by the way is 4 1/2 hours in decimal form , you need to convert the 0:45 to a decimal number instead of time, which multiplying by 24 does.
