Hi - I've checked over the various timesheet threads and can't find an answer to my issue:

I would like to eliminate the grey subtotal coloums and in TOTAL HOURS (blue coloumn) I would like the formula to be: START to FINISH less Start & finish Meal break.... as these are all 24hr time formats and the formula total must be in a number format, I am struggling with subrtacting total meal break from total shift time.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Hi @jasonb75 - thanks for getting back to me so quickly.. I tried that formula and don't get total worked hours:

I tried transposing the formulas start andfinish times but that didn't help either? Any suggestions

Format the cell as time, 0.35 is 08:30

If you want to show 8.5 instead of 8:30 then multiply the result by 24.
