To obtain current day's value

Sheet1 Column A6:A55 contains dates in DD-MM-YYYY format in
chronological order. Presently this A25 contains date 03-09-2020, i.e. today.

Sheet1 Column B6:B55 contains numbers in numerical format and
the number is filled in on daily basis. Therefore as of today B6:B25 have
been filled. B26:B55 are bank and will be filled in future.

My requirement: Cell Sheet2!C15 should show sheet1!B25 (Today's entry).
(Tomorrow this Cell sheet2!C15 should show sheet1!B26)

I request you to kindly advise me the formula in Cell Sheet2!C15.

If your dates are exact dates (i.e. no time part) then you can just use an index/match
