hello,

I'm using the "&A1&" formula to reference dollar value totals. Cell A1 is formatted to 2 decimal points, but the referenced cell destination is adding more than 2 decimal places!

thanks

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Try:
Code:
& TEXT(A1,"0.00") &

I think it would be prudent to round the calculation in A1 itself, to wit: =expression becomes =ROUND(expression,2).

Even so, Joe4'2 use of TEXT is still prudent because it forces rounded numbers of the form 1.2 to be displayed as 1.20 in the text formula.
