Just got this error message on a large file that I am working on in Excel 2010 when I tried to format a block of cells. Any ideas as to how to fix?

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Unless one can figure out how to make a blivet out of the worksheet, these are the limits. the only remedy is to reduce the formats to within limits.
