So I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to do my tool bar in my spreadsheet. I need my list to come from a second spreadsheet and can't figure it out. Pleas HELP!!!

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
I still can't figure it out...nobody has a clue? When i go to validation it will only let me choose the cells on the spreadsheet i am on...

Still quite frustrated!!!

Are you talkng about a ToolBar or Data Validation drop down?
If Data Validation & you want to use a list on a different sheet, then you need to name the list. eg MyList,You can then refer to it in the Source Box of the Data validation dialog by typing =MyList.

I guess I would be talking about Data Validation. I wonder if that is what I should be using. I am making a quote spreadsheet so a salesman can choose a model of trailer and then the price would come up in the second column, then they can choose all the other options of the trailer. My problem is all the stats for the trailers are on the second workbook. I don't know how to recall them from the spreadsheet I am using so that I can put them in a drop down bar so they can choose from their options. I haven't really done much with spreadsheets in a while, but I am helping out on this project. Thanks for any help you may have!!!
