what control is used to create an icon drop down like the cell border icon which when clicked on drops down a floating toolbar with four icons across by three icons down?

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
So if i use that if i wanted to create a custom toolbar which has the same functionality that the borders icon does ie, when i click on the drop down to the right of the icon, it would bring down a floating menu which could be dragged to make it float?

Oh, I thought you just wanted to open the Border option box.

You can create a custom Toolbar and have icons of your choice on it. You can drag it onto the worksheet and have it "Float" there.

I do not know how to create the effect of the Border icon that uses a dropdown arrow.

Good question, maybe someone else has an idea.

One last try. Anyone know how to duplicate the functionality of the borders drop down floating icon toolbar which can be dragged away from the borders icon?
