Tools / Options has disappeared

Hi, does anyone have an answer to this please? The Tools / Options box won't come up when I select it. Everything else on that menu is working fine eg Add-Ins, Macros. I have restarted Excel and rebooted the machine, but to no avail.

Right click any Toolbar and choose Customise. On the Toolbars tab select Worksheet menu Bar and click Reset. Then click Close and cross your fingers.

Thanks but it didn't do it. At least I haven't lost all the changes I've made to the Standard and Formatting toolbars, so no harm done.
