Hello,
I am new to posting on this site, but have been using it for reference for quite some time. I have been trying to find a solution to my problem for a while now and figured I would give it one last try before I gave up.
I have data from 100 competitors for each month of the year from June 2010 to June 2011. However, I only need the top 10 from each month. I would like to have the graph show each month on the X-Axis and then use the legend and different colors to depict the different competitors. I can accomplish this through a pivot table, but only if I sort each months data before hand and only select the top 10 competitors to be added to the PivotTable. However, since the top 10 are different from month to month, I have a bunch of empty data fields throughout the table and the PivotChart tries to graph them and just leaves empty space.
Is there a way to get excel not to graphs the bars for the 0 or empty fields?
Also, is this the right way for me to be doing this, or is there a better way?
Thanks,
VgsKrt
