This question was posted in 2010 and I can't seem to find where it was answered. Can anyone help?

Hi All,

I have an issue when opening excel files.
Sometimes they open within Excel but the top bar on the window(with the minimise/maximise/close button) is tucked above the area where I can see it (Under the main excel toolbars).
Another issue I have, is that when I do get an excel file to open correctly, I am unable to click and drag the top bar to move it around. I also cannot maximise it, and am only able to close it.

I know that by clicking window/arrange/tiled I can get the window to appear correctly, but I am opening around 100 different files a day and it is getting increasingly frustrating having to do this each time.

Is there a way for me to get excel to remember my previous window positions so it does not continue doing this?

I have also tried Detect & Repair, Reinstalling Excel itself and also reinstalling graphics drivers as I was told that might be an issue.

Thanks for any help in advance.
