Hi all. I've been away for a while but back now.
I have a Excel sheet that calculates my drone pilot hours. I have a formula that calculates my flight hours over the last 60 days (CAA requirement). What id like to do is be able to do is show my total flight hours, starting from the beginning of the column, formatted in either hours, min, seconds (with out resetting the hours when it get to 23.59.59) or in days, hours and minutes. How would I do this?

formatted in either hours, min, seconds (with out resetting the hours when it get to 23.59.59)
With a custom format of [h]:mm:ss

Your second choice would not be possible with proper times. It could be done but there would be a lack of accuracy in the results.

Thank you. I tried the option and it works. At least with the hours i can work out the days. Thank you very much

If having days in one cell and hours (part day only) in another is acceptable then you could use
=INT(A1) formatted as number and =MOD(A1,1) formatted as time, where A1 contains the original sum of hours.
