Hi

I'm struggling with this and I'm hoping someone on here can help

I need to get the total time spent in the different pause states by 30 min interval.
So for example, agent A315 spent a total on 1.5 hours in training between 10:54 and 12:24, so I'd need to allocate 6mins between 10:30-11:29, then 30mins from 11:30-12:29, etc.
I only need the total by type, not by agent

Thanks in advance

Marcus

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
are you wanting the total times by type added together then by 30 min increments?
also are you wanting it to round up or down or to nearest 30 min? ex 4:18:03 could be 4.0 or 4.5

I'm looking for something like a pivot table where there'd be the time interval down the side, 30 min time interval across the time, and the total in each time as the result.
The problem is, that if i just do a traditional pivot, then there could be 1 1/2 hours attributed to one 30 min interval, rather than 30mins in each of three
