i want to press a button to start a macro
this macro will do this

on the hide show tab
the macro hides the rows on the cover sheet tab
hide rows starting from coulmn b to column c if coulmn d is 0 if 1 do nothing
for each carrier from 1 to 195


column a coulmn b column c column d
carrier 1 400 450 1
carrier 2 450 600 0
carrier 195 886 900 1

You could do this without a macro simply by filtering column D using 1 as the criterium.

well, i don't even know where to start to do that, and I have been talking to other guys they all say VBA

Click in cell D1. In the menu at the top, click on the 'Data' tab and then click the 'Filter' icon. You will see drop down arrows in the cells in row 1. Click the down arrow in D1. Click on the check mark to the left of 'Select All' to remove it and then insert a check mark to the left of the number 1. Click 'OK'.
