Hello, I'm trying to figure out a way to track changes to a check box and store them for a system access log/authorization form.

I've read up on using the Intersect feature some but I can't quite wrap my head around it.

Here is an Example of what I'm trying to do:
There is a Sheet called "MainSheet"
There is a Sheet called "CopySheet"

On the MainSheet:
There is a check box called "Share1"
There is a button called "Generate"

I'm trying to make the "Generate" button do this in order:
1. Check to see if changes happened. If changes are made then #2 - #7. If no changes made then #8.

2. make a copy of "CopySheet"
3. give the new sheet a new name (maybe the current date)
4. then check to see if "Share1" value has changed at all. If it has changed, then I am trying to add text to the new sheet at cell D7. Maybe: "Share1 added" if Share1 change is now true, and "Share1 removed" if value changed is now false.

5. Do nothing or pop up a message saying "No changes detected"

Is this possible at all with a VBA?

I appreciate any help that anyone can give. Thank you!

I'm not even sure if I'm going about it right with the order about the button click. I plan on having multiple check boxes so I wasn't sure if there was some way to check if any of them had changed at all first, then move on to #2 if any changed. I guess maybe a nested IF statement of some kind and just keep nesting throughout the whole thing until the last checkbox is accounted for.
