track changes - changing colors

Hi
I am experimenting Track changes option. I noticed that If I highlight cells and change the color (background color), Excel would not consider that as a change. Why is that? Thanks
.

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
As far as I'm aware, changing the background colour (and/or font colour) isn't meant to be recorded by the Track Changes functionality. It's one of the things that are unsupported / not covered by "Track Changes".
