Hi all...Found this code that does mostly what I need but wondering if it can be modified to work only within a specific range (i.e. A2:Z26)? Thanks.

VBA Code:
Option Explicit
Public preValue As Variant
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
    Target.ClearComments
    Target.AddComment.Text Text:="Previous Value was " & preValue & Chr(10) & "Revised " & Format(Date, "mm-dd-yyyy") & Chr(10) & "By " & Environ("UserName")
End Sub

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
    If Target = "" Then
        preValue = "a blank"
    Else: preValue = Target.Value
    End If
End Sub

How about
VBA Code:
Public preValue As Variant
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.CountLarge > 1 Then Exit Sub
    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("A2:Z26")) Is Nothing Then
      Target.ClearComments
      Target.AddComment.Text Text:="Previous Value was " & preValue & Chr(10) & "Revised " & Format(Date, "mm-dd-yyyy") & Chr(10) & "By " & Environ("UserName")
   End If
End Sub

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.CountLarge > 1 Then Exit Sub
    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("A2:Z26")) Is Nothing Then
      If Target = "" Then
          preValue = "a blank"
      Else: preValue = Target.Value
      End If
   End If
End Sub
