Is it possible to "track changes" like in MS Word which draws a direct arrow to any changes, rather than just highlighting the cell, and having to run your mouse over the cell to see what changes were made.

It's hard to believe Excel wouldn't have the same option a in MS Word.

I'm using Excel 2007.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
There is a TrackChanges option on the Review tab. You have the option of creating a running log of changes.

Just be aware that using the TC feature requires you to share the wb, and shared workbooks suck.

I'm aware of the "track changes" on the Review Tab, however, in MS Word it will actually draw a line to the changes made, and also place a comment what was changed, i.e., deleted, etc. You mentioned you can keep a running tab of changes. HOW IS THAT DONE?

And back to my original question, can the changes be track like MS Word? I find it hard to be Excel 2007 wouldn't have such an option.

There's an option at the bottom of the TC dialog to "List changes on a new sheet".

I have never used TC in Excel and never will because of the Shared Workbook issue, so that's as much help as I can be.

You might want to look at the Excel Web App, which does support real-time collaboration.
