I have listboxes in a form. I am loading data in the listbox during the Initialize event.

I want to do two things:
  • Highlight an option in each list for the user; and
  • if the user does not double click on anything, transfer the value from the highlighted item into a variable during runtime.
Upon loading the data I highlight the desires option as follows:

ListBox1.Selected(0) = True

How do I ensure that the highlighted value gets transfered to a variable called "lstbxvar"

Thanks
