Hi there ive almost finished making a bike hire system where i select a specific type of bike and the hire duration as well as entering the customers details in and veryfying them

on a seperate sheet i need basically a database of all the transactions throughout a certain period (not specific)

i would think i need a button to transfer the data across to the other sheet but thats hard enough with the addition of having to format the data in the new sheet aswell with headings: transaction number, hire charge, cycle type, hire duration, identity verified and then all the data below those headings

the tricky bit here is formatting the data to apear in an specific order in the new sheet

i think i have some sort of idea but im not used to using visual basic with excel just more by itself

any help would be appreciated just to get me started and in the right path to finishing this thank you :)

p.s i keep posting threads is there a way to just actually make a "new post" rather than thread ... im new

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Greetings,

You should be able to open your ongoing thread, scroll to the bottom, and use the quick reply box.

As to your questions about a project, I would suggest posting sample before and after (or I should say, sheet 1 data and what it shouldcombine into on sheet 2) data, using Richard Schollar's HTMLMaker or ExcelJeanie.
