Somehow, i've got ^ or ' popping up in front of anything i type in certain cells... completely random cells... I know these are characters other programs use for formatting, ' is left align, for example; but i have no idea why they are popping up at random in my sheet, and it is making my formulas not work, because it doesn't recognize '245 as the number 245, or ^106-rk as 106r-k.

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
the file is not actually an import from anywhere; i just know that ',", and ^ are transitional navigation keys...

this is a new page that i made, and has no links to anything else; which is why i can't figure out why it is putting the ^ before random things... and i can make it not display the characters in options/transition, but even though they are not displayed, they are still there.
