TransitionPeriod set as 10000 msec seems more like 10 msecs

I have a mulipage where the tabs are set to transition at 10000 (10secs). It seems more like 1/2 second though. Something I am doing wrong? It doesn't really bother me but my boss is BIG into aesthetics! :rolleyes:
