I am trying to make it so that the data i type into the row of one workbook will be transposed into the column of a second workbook. This data is entered daily and I get tired of having to type the same thing into different workbooks. Here is an example:
Workbook one:
Putaways: 26 78 95 45 65 32
I would like those number to be put into workbook two into a column.
Workbook two:
Putaways:
26
78
95
45
65
32

I could not find any formulas that would do this.

Thanks for your help.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Would a macro such as this be suitable? Just change Book1 and Book2 in the code to the names of the books you are working with.

Code:
Sub Transpose()
    Range("A1").Select
    Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlToRight)).Select
    Range(Selection, Selection.End(xlDown)).Select
    Application.CutCopyMode = False
    Selection.Copy
    Windows("Book1").Activate
    Range("A1").Select
    Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteAll, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks:= _
        False, Transpose:=True
    Range("A1").Select
    Windows("Book2").Activate
    Range("A1").Select
    Application.CutCopyMode = False
End Sub
