Hi, I have a scatter plot of two series. I can rightclick one series and choose Trendlines, but that only gives me a trendline for that particular series.

I'd like to see one trendline for both series together. Is this possible?

Thanks, Mike

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Just add a third column to your graph that is the sum of the two columns you have already plotted.

Then get your trendline on this third series. After this, while still on the third series, Format Data Series - Pattern and select None under both Border and Area (This will hide the third series, but still show its trendline).
