Please excuse my ignorance and poor terminology for what I'm about to ask.
I'm working on an Excel spreadsheet for our farm operation. I want to calculate the the distance of A & B when Ba and Cc change linear and lateral. The current pattern is 40" linear and 20" lateral from center line of row. The diagonal distance between the plants is what I'm looking for.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Welcome to the board.

If plants are placed in a rectangular grid with 40' north/south distance and 20' east/west, then they are spaced =sqrt(20^2 + 40^2) diagonal distance (about 44.7 feet).

If that answers your question, you must be planting redwood trees

That would be very likely if OP had said Feet, but OP said Inches...;)
