Hey guys!

I have a tricky macro question for Excel:

How would you delete any and all columns that are not named for example "Apple" "Orange" and "Banana"? Complicating matters is the fact that the position of those 3 columns will change randomly. The column named "Apple" could be in column C on one spreadsheet but would be on column E on another.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Try

Code:
Sub DelCols()
Dim LC As Long, i As Long
LC = Cells(1, Columns.Count).End(xlToLeft).Column
For i = LC To 1 Step -1
    If IsError(Application.Match(Cells(1, i).Value, Array("Apple", "Orange", "Banana"), 0)) Then Columns(i).Delete
Next i
End Sub
