Tricky Mod Function

I need to create a new columin my work sheet using a mod function that sorts the last digit of a number. I cannot use Excel Sort or Filter the column looks like this except much longer. The last digit I'm trying to filter is 3.

Hi,

Does the number 3 always be at the last ? rather the number 3 is always the last number and you are sure the number 3 doesnt appear anywhere in between the number ?

this is as far as I get I just need to make a list of all the ID's that end in 3

This appears to be data. If so, what are the results?

Theres not really any results I only need to identify the list of student ID's that end in the number 3 from the column of ID numbers and i can't come up with a mod function that does that.

You had mentioned that...u would like to sort it...

go to conditional formatting - new rule - use the formula to determine ( the last option )

paste this formula

=ISNUMBER(FIND("3",A2,1))

assuming the student ID is in column A

then you can sort or filter according to the cell color.

In that list you posted last I see just one ID ending on 3, right?

yeah there is only one 3 in my previous posts but I only posted a few of the ID's there are 357 ID's that I need to sort through.
