Trouble With Hyperlinks

I'm using WindowsXP and Excel 2003. I have a cell that has a hyperlink in it. When I right-click on the cell and choose "Edit Hyperlink...", I see the desired URL in both the "Text to display" field and in the "Address" field. However, when I click on the cell to go to the URL, my browser (IE) opens up to a different URL.

Any ideas why this would happen? I've tried clearing the cell and re-entering the information. Same problem.

Thanks...

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi,

The only reason I can see for this is not Excel-related...
What happens when you paste the URL in your IE? Doesn't it go to another URL ?

Perhaps provide the URL so we can test it.

kind regards,
Erik

I agree with Erik in that it doesn't sound like an Excel error. It would seem that it could be a DNS Server problem, but other than suggesting what the source might be, I can't offer anything else as it's totally beyond my experience/skills.

Do you have a network IT guy whereever you are that you can ask?
