Hey there everyone.

We have a directory that exists on multiple computers. We have a script that will get the file list for these directories. It puts them in the workbook in new sheets per computer.

We are trying to create something that will create a report showing what files aren't on the "Main" computer. Which ones are the newest dates among all the computers.

Data format

WorkBook.Sheet.MAIN

Full nameFile NameDate
\directory\user\folder\file1file1MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file2file2MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file3file3MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file4file4MM/DD/YYYY

<tbody>
</tbody>

WorkBook.Sheet.PC1

Full nameFile NameDate
\directory\user\folder\file1file1MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file2file2MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file3file3MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file4file4MM/DD/YYYY

<tbody>
</tbody>

WorkBook.Sheet.PC2

Full nameFile NameDate
\directory\user\folder\file1file1MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file2file2MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file5file5MM/DD/YYYY
\directory\user\folder\file6file6MM/DD/YYYY

<tbody>
</tbody>

Any guidance would be appreciated

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

I would set up a Dictionary and store the filename here with the date as item and the filename as key. Ten I can check for the existance of filename and if there and date is newer, then add the newer date (overwriting the old one.
Do this for all the files from all PCs.
Then you can printout (or compare in memory) the dictionary and compare with the master PC
