In Summary, I'm trying to create a report manually.

When I run the Report Wizard, I group on Invoice Number. Then I select "stepped" for the Layout. When I open the report, I then have the Invoice Number as the group header and each Invoice Line under the invoice Number.

Now, the problem....When I try it create the report manually, I can't seem to get it grouped properly. I have invoice number as my header, but each invoice line is on a seperate page. I personally think it is because I can't find the "stepped" option when doing in manually.

Does anyone have anythoughts how I can achieve this?

Hi
When manually creating the report, have you tried looking at the menu option View -> Sorting and Grouping? If you add an item into the list (like invoice number), then you should see additional 'group properties' - in particular you need to set the group header to 'yes' (and group footer to 'yes' too if you want that). I recommend you experiment with various sorting and grouping options to see the differing effects.
