Hi guys,

I have a list of elements on my excel sheet.

The column that I need to do 'text to column' looks something like this

MDL1-Men's Wear
MODL1-Women's Wear
MODEL2-Fragrance
MODEL3-Maagzines
...

I just want to split the contenet before the hyphen and after that into two seperate columns?

Do anyone happen to know how to do that?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Highlight the range you want to adjust, make sure the column to the right is blank.
Click text to column
Delimited
other: put hyphen here
Click ok
