Hi all.

Basically I've created a function that the user can select 2 dates to show a date range (Match) and then return the sum of data within those dates.
Code:
=INDEX(data!$U$9:$U$374,MATCH(dashboard!$L$8,data!$Q$9:$Q$374,0)):INDEX(data!$U$9:$U$374,MATCH(dashboard!$X$8,data!$Q$9:$Q$374,0))

This works well but now I'd like to also show the previous time periods sum of data (so a count of days would be needed).
I'm pushing my limits of knowledge here - possibly an array function would be needed?
PS has to work for excel 2010 and no VBA due to security concerns.

I was thinking on the lines of using DAYS and a countif but im getting lost on the complexity of thought.

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Kindly share sample here with end results that you require
