Trying to understand the following formula: {=table(a1,)}

I am completely lost with the following array formula that I've come across in a worksheet that I'm auditing:

{=table(a1,)}

The cell a1 contains a date, but I have no idea where formula is getting it's data for the resulting calculation. There is no data set called "table" in the workbook. The result of the formula is a dollar value of stock options that is based on the date found in cell a1.

I don't even know where to start.

Well to start you can show us the result. its hard for us to guess whats happening if we dont know what the end result is. I cant find the table function, so check in the code editor to see if its a UDF.

It's a one-way data table. Thanks for the guidance!
