I need to make a database of formulas in excel without the formulas actually calculating. An it has to stay as the true formula not just add a (space or comma). Please help anyone! Im more than willing to explain further.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi and welcome to the Board.
Have you considered turning off the Automatic Calculation ?
That way the formulas will only work if F9 is pressed.
If you are using 2007....Home Button / Excel Options / Formulas / deselect automatic and uncheck recalculate.
Otherwise, I can't think of another method of achieving the desired result.
