Two lookup

Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet with states codes in vertical and product code in horizontal and their taxability status opposite to those. I want to get this status on an other file with the help of one formula. Please guide.
States Abb Code 2 8 3 4 5 6 7 9
Alabama AL 01 Pst Pst Pst Pst T Pst T T
Alaska AK 02

Stupid question, but are you wanting pull the tax stutus from another file, or are you wanting to pull the tax status from this file to another file.

If the former, then what is the structure of the data in the other file? ie
What's data is in what columns and/or rows?

This can be solved with vlookup, an index/match combination, or sumproduct, all depending.
