This is an odd situation, I'm making a workbook that is supposed to be an application people can use, so the main page has some formatting to make it look more like a product than an excel sheet. There are some images in the header and some buttons, and then at about row 15 one of the buttons will make a pivot table. The problem is that this pivot table is never the same in terms of how wide each column needs to be for the data within. I have my worksheet being formatted (column widths) to the pivot table, but the problem is that this formatting will cause all my buttons and images above the table to be misplaced.
Is there a way to separate a worksheet into two such that I can have all the cells above the pivot table formatted one way and all the cells below another? I'm afraid this might be something obvious that I'm missing in excel so I'm sorry for being a noob if that's the case. I should also note that I do not want to use the freeze frame option. Thanks very much for your time.
