UDF max deviation from mean

I'm new to user defined functions and want to create on that will calculate the maximum deviation from the average of a set of numbers.
The Excel formula would be ={MAX(ABS(H4:H8-AVERAGE(H4:H8))/AVERAGE(H4:H8))}
I'm sure its easy but I'm stuck!
